Power Outage in Pollocksville, NC

Strong Wind. Duke Energy reports power outages around the county due to trees that fell on power lines. Winds were estimated to have gusted to 50 to 55 mph.

Thunderstorm Wind. The power company reported power outage in Maysville caused by fallen trees and/or large limbs on their equipment. The time was estimated by radar data.

Tropical Storm. Some tropical storm force wind gusts affected the area during the overnight hours. Power outages resulted from trees and powerlines that were blown down. According to the NC Department of Public Safety, some 3,933 customers were without power across the county.
