A lightning struck a home in Neptune Beach which caused damage to the exterior of the house and power outage but no fire was reported.

July 22, 2015 - Thunderstorm Wind

Severe damage occurred to a home at 690 Goldenrod Lane South due to thunderstorm winds. Trees and power lines were blown down between the house and the intersection of A1A and Atlantic Blvd. Cars were moved by the wind in the Walgreens parking at A1A and Atlantic Blvd. Light poles were blown over in the K-Mart parking lot.
