July 23, 2003 - Thunderstorm Wind

A National Weather Service storm survey determined straight line winds blew numerous trees and power lines down northeast of SC Hwy 9 along Little River Neck Road. There was some structural damage to several homes due to fallen or snapped trees. One person was trapped in their home by a large fallen tree. No injuries were reported. The winds were estimated at 80 mph.
