A convective complex moved east along and north of the Ohio River during the late afternoon and early evening hours. Widespread straight line wind damage occurred with numerous wind gusts estimated to be in the 70 to 80 mph range. Over 150,000 customers were without power across southwest Ohio after the storms moved through the region.

Thunderstorm Wind. Video from a boat showed a gustando moving north across the Ohio River, associated with a thunderstorms outflow boundary. As the gustnado moved onshore in the Sayler Park area, it downed numerous trees along Catalpa Road, Gracely Drive and Fernbank Avenue. Some of the trees fell on a few houses and caused some minor damage. Several power lines were also downed.
