May 27, 2013 - Thunderstorm Wind

Wind gusts were estimated to be near 90 MPH, with damage generally confined to southern portions of Fillmore County. Along this path, multiple irrigation pivots were overturned, power poles were broken and trees were damaged. A number of grain bins were damaged or destroyed, outbuildings were damaged and one home suffered damage, mainly broken glass.

Emergency Manager reportes some power poles bent over causing power outages as well as major tree damage in town. Winds caused debris from fields to hit a nearby house.
