Events
Snowfall amounts ranged from 6 to 12 inches across Garden County. General public reported 12 inches of snowfall located 6 miles south of Lewellen. Due to the wet and heavy snow, power outages were common across the county.
Northwest winds gusted to 64 mph at 455 am CST at a mesonet site in Garden County. The high winds snapped power lines and caused electrical outages for several hours in Oshkosh and Lisco.
Thunderstorm outflow winds tore a roof off a hay shed, destroyed and damaged grain bins, broke off four power poles, uprooted trees, and tore rain gutters off a house.
Trees and power poles were snapped off and a metal shed was tossed by the strong outflow winds.
