Low pressure and an associated cold front moved across the region. Showers and thunderstorms developed along the cold front. These produced damaging winds and hail up to one-inch in diameter. Near Williamstown the nickel- to quarter-size hail was three to four inches deep. The thunderstorm winds downed trees and power lines.

A cold front crossed New York State during the late morning/early afternoon hours. The thunderstorms that accompanied the front became stronger as the line approached the Genesee Valley and cross the Finger Lakes Region. The thunderstorm winds downed trees and power lines. Several roads were blocked. Storms that moved onshore from Lake Ontario across Oswego damaged solar panels and downed trees on the State University of New York at Oswego campus. In the City of Oswego, trees and power lines were also downed. As the storm moved further east multiple trees were downed in Albion. Falling trees damaged a mobile home, RV and barn.

Thunderstorms blossomed along a strong and nearly stationary lake breeze boundary that stretched from the Chautauqua Ridge to the Eastern Lake Ontario Region. Storms that developed over Oswego county reached severe limits. Thunderstorm winds downed trees and power lines near Richland, Fulton, Palermo and Mexico. Roads were closed by downed trees including State Route 13 at the Albion/Richland town line, the intersection of Hanson and Johnson Roads and Soper Mills Road in New Haven, and County Route 41 in Mexico. In Palermo, a mobile home was damaged by a falling tree on Sundown Road.

A cold front swept across New York State during the evening hours. Showers and thunderstorms preceded and accompanied the front. Hail up to one inch in diameter was reported in Victor, Macedon, Sodus and North Rose. Several of the thunderstorms produced damaging winds. Trees were downed in Macedon, Victor, Farmington, Fulton, Palermo and Amboy Center. Power poles and wires were downed by the winds in Wolcott.

Showers and thunderstorms developed as a warm front interacted with lake breeze boundaries during the evening hours. In the Town of Allegany an isolated thunderstorm produced winds that downed trees and power lines. Overnight, as the storms continue to move further east a couple of other storms in Oswego county produced damaging winds. In Schroeppel, downed trees blocked Route 264. In West Monroe, a falling tree damaged an automobile. Across the southern tier, rainfall totals from the storms approached two inches. Minor flooding issues were reported by the 911 centers.

Showers and thunderstorms accompanied a cold front crossing the region during the late evening hours. Trees and power lines were downed in Covington, Oswego and Palermo. A gust to 59 mph was recorded at the Oswego County Airport in Fulton.

A secondary cold front moved across the region during the late morning hours. The thunderstorms that accompanied the front produced large hail���measured to 1.75������and damaging winds that gusted to 60 mph. Large hail was reported in Palmyra, Newark, Lyons and Clyde. Thunderstorm winds downed trees and/or power lines near Bardeen Corners, Little France, West Monroe and Constantia.

A cold front crossed the area and brought severe thunderstorms to parts of the eastern Finger Lakes and eastern Lake Ontario region. The thunderstorms produced damaging winds that downed trees and power lines. In Clyde, a home was damaged by a falling tree. In Wayne county, hail accompanied the storms with nickel-size hail being reported in Rose.

Thunderstorms developed along an elevated warm front producing strong damaging winds. Oswego county suffered the brunt of the storms with downed trees and power lines. Just outside of Palermo, up to 30 trees were downed and a garage was damaged.

A warm front stalled across Lake Ontario and southern Ontario during the evening hours. A thunderstorm complex moved along the warm front during the wee hours of the morning. These storms dropped southeast across Lake Ontario and affected central New York between 2:30 and 5:00 a.m. Most of these produced heavy rain but the trailing storm was particularly strong with abundant lightning. The winds associated with this storm downed trees and power lines over parts of Oswego county including Fulton and Central Square.

An isolated thunderstorm developed over Oswego county and produced damaging winds during the afternoon hours. Winds, estimated to be gusting near 60 mph, downed trees and power lines.

Widely scattered thunderstorms developed and moved across the north country. One thunderstorm downed trees across Route 11 in the Town of West Monroe. In Watson, trees and power lines were downed by thunderstorm winds.

Afternoon thunderstorms developed in a warm, humid airmass. The thunderstorm winds downed trees in Lyons (Wayne county) and Lowville (Lewis county). In Oswego county, the downburst overturned three small, private planes at the Oswego County Airport in Fulton. Trees and power lines were downed in Fulton and Volney. In Granby Center (Oswego county) the winds tore a roof off a house. Lightning struck a house in Seneca (Ontario county) causing a fire in the upper floor.

An isolated thunderstorm during the morning hours produced damaging winds that downed tree limbs and power lines. Scattered power outages were reported.

Thunderstorms developed during the late afternoon hours in a warm, moist, unstable flow. A few of these storms reached severe limits producing damaging winds that downed trees and power lines in East Otto, Belfast, and Mexico.

Thunderstorms crossed the eastern Lake Ontario region during the late afternoon and evening hours. The damaging thunderstorm winds downed power lines in Glenfield, Lewis county. Trees were downed in Granby, Oswego county, where a portion of a metal roof was blown off a trailer.

Thunderstorms moved across Oswego county and were enhanced by lake breezes off Lake Ontario. The damaging thunderstorm winds downed trees and power lines across the county from Granby through Volney and Hastings.
