Pauls Valley Power Outages Caused by Weather

Numerous areas of tree and power line damage between Pauls Valley and Stratford.
A tornado moved east-southeast from west of County Road 3210 about a mile and a half north of State Highway 29 to just east of Indian Meridian Road. Seven homes, a few outbuildings, trees and power poles were damaged.
Numerous large trees down. Store front windows blown out. Large steel power poles bent.
Ice knocked out power for 800 customers.

An mid-level disturbance moved north out of south Texas during the day on the 11th. Thunderstorms developed during the late afternoon and early evening hours as the disturbance neared the Red River. A thunderstorm briefly became severe over Garvin county, with winds estimated at 60 mph, causing minor damage to a power line.
