Winter storm knocks out power to thousands in Ohio | WSYX
A winter storm with ice, snow and gusty wind has knocked out power to thousands of customers throughout Ohio. As of 11 p. m. Thursday, AEP Ohio is reporting more than 43,000 customers without power. South Central Power is reporting more than 21,500 customers without power. Hocking County has been one of the hardest-hit counties as far as power outages. More than 7,300 AEP customers in the county are without power. AEP Ohio reports that is about 65% of all customers in the county.
