Plainview Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
Emergency manager reported a couple of small sheds destroyed and power lines down. Several grain bins were collapsed from the top and sides. Also reported roof and fence damage.
Law enforcement reported damage to a roof of a business and power lines down.
Thunderstorm wind gusts estimated at 70 mph or greater that lasted for 10 or 15 minutes uprooted 50 to 60 trees southwest of Plainview and toppled an outbuilding. Trees, power lines and signs were downed in Plainview as well, causing some building and vehicle damage throughout the area.
