A NWS storm survey confirmed that an EF3 tornado occurred across northern Grant County. The tornado started in Boscobel where damage to trees, power poles and power lines occurred. The tornado then moved east/southeast before dissipating south of Blue River. Along the path, six homes sustained enough damage to be considered total losses while numerous other had minor to moderate damage. No injuries were reported.
Trees were damaged and power outages occurred just west of Platteville.

A complex of storms moved across southwest Wisconsin during the evening of August 27th. The storms blew down trees north of Brodtville (Grant County) and power lines in Patch Grove (Grant County). Funnel clouds were also sighted between in the vicinity of Mount Hope (Grant County).
Thunderstorms moved across portions of southwest Wisconsin during the evening of July 11th. These storms produced some damaging winds that blew down power lines near Lancaster (Grant County) and blew down a tree that landed on a vehicle in Potosi (Grant County).
A broken line of thunderstorms moved across southwest Wisconsin during the evening of June 26th. These storms produced some damaging winds as they moved across Grant County. Trees and power lines were blown down near Glen Haven, Bloomington and Platteville. A shed was also damaged near Platteville.
Thunderstorms developed along a warm front over southwest Wisconsin during the early evening of March 28th. These storms spawned a tornado near Potosi (Grant County) that was on the ground for just over 6 miles before dissipating west of Ellenboro (Grant County). One house and numerous farm buildings were damaged along with trees and power lines along the path of the tornado.

These storms blew down trees and powers lines near Lancaster (Grant County) and Dickeyville (Grant County). The automated weather observing equipment at the Platteville (Grant County) airport measured a 59 mph gust.
