Thunderstorm winds blew down several trees near the intersection of State Highway 185 and State Route T. Also, several power lines were blown down at the intersection of State Highways H and A, just east of Richwoods.

The County Sheriff reported trees and a few power lines down in Richwoods and Potosi.
Thunderstorm wind gusts uprooted or damaged hundreds of trees from just north of Potosi to Richwoods. Virtually the entire town of Richwoods lost electricity due to downed power lines. Richwood Schools were dismissed the next 3 days due to lack of electricity in the community and because of some water damage at the school from the heavy rain. Power in some areas was not restored for several days. Two homes just north of town on Highway 47 suffered roof damage. Washington State Park had to be closed for 17 days after the storm because of all the tree damage.
The County sheriff reported numerous trees down across the southern part of the county, from Potosi south to Caledonia. Power lines were down and some roads were blocked by downed trees.
Thunderstorm wind gusts caused damage in and north of Potosi. Trees were broken off, screens ripped off a bedroom window, a picnic table thrown down a hill, and a canoe was thrown into a lake at a home north of Potosi. Some trees and power lines were also downed in Potosi.

A letter from the mayor said more than 900 homes and facilities were affected by the outage. The Red Cross is opening a shelter for people affected.

One tree was blown down at the intersection of Highways 21 and 47, just south of Old Mines. Another tree was blown down at the intersection of Highway 21 and State Highway E. On the east side of Ironton, a tree was blown down at the intersection of Scout Camp Road and Nursing Home Road.
