A second round of thunderstorms delivered more widespread tree damage closer to town center with multiple power outages.
Widespread trees and wires down throughout a large part of Poultney. Several roads, including Route 30 impassable due to debris (trees and power lines). Some trees fell on homes and vehicles. At least one 100+ year old maple was uprooted. Damage was significant.
