Thunderstorm winds blew down several large trees, numerous tree limbs and power lines around town. A couple of power poles were snapped off and some shingles blown off of a few homes on the west side of town.

Thunderstorm winds blew down several power lines in St. Martins. Further east in western portions of Jefferson City, thunderstorm winds uprooted a large tree at the intersection of U.S. Highway 50 and Business 50, blocking the roadway. Also, several power poles in this area were blown down.

Thunderstorm winds blew down several power lines around town. One power line fell across part of the west bound lanes of U.S. Highway 54, so the westbound lanes had to be closed temporarily closed until the line was removed.

Local law enforcement reported 6 to 12 inch diameter tree limbs down. Some power lines were also down.

Thunderstorm winds caused scattered damage in Russellville. A boat and trailer were blown about 150 yards before the boats trailer finally plunged into the wall of a home. A garage was damaged and numerous trees and power lines were down.

The County Sheriff reported trees and power lines down in Wardsville.

Lightning strikes knocked out power to about 6000 customers and also started a house fire.

A severe thunderstorm dropped hail up to 2 inches in diameter and caused wind damage across parts of Cole County. In Brazito, there was some roof and structural damage along with numerous trees down. Power poles were taken down just south of Brazito along Highway 54. Highway billboards were reported blown down along Highway 54 near Hickory Hill.
