Several large trees, some over two feet in diameter, were blown down across the a large portion of St. Cloud, Minnesota. Some of the trees were entirely uprooted, and power was out in parts of St. Cloud.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation wind sensor near Sauk Centre on Interstate 94 began measuring sustained winds of 50 mph after 150 AM CST, with a peak gust of 63 mph at 200 AM CST. The high winds were created by outflow from previous thunderstorms, and continued through 330 AM CST before lightening up. Winds were high enough to cause power lines and trees to blow down across parts of Stearns County.

Periods of heavy snow fell across Stearns County from Tuesday evening, through Wednesday morning. Some of the precipitation mixed with sleet and freezing rain during the evening. Locally 6 to 12 inches of snow fell, with some ice accumulations on trees and power lines.

The Sauk Centre City Officials noted that power was lost in the town at 1908 CST, which is when emergency sirens lost power. Several residents noted that the strong straight line winds lasted for 10 minutes. ||Damage occurred to approximately 200 trees in Sauk Centre which were either uprooted or snapped off with the line of storms. Tree damage was noted from Interstate 94, in the south, to the Sauk Centre Country Club to the north. ||The survey noted that all of the trees were laying toward the east, which was indicative of damage caused by straight line winds. Dozens of structures were also damaged in the town, though almost all of the structural damage was caused by falling trees. There was a toppled truck trailer, just over a dozen downed utility poles, and several snapped road signs.

Trees and power lines were downed in St. Cloud, Waite Park, Sartell, and St. Augusta. In St. Cloud a felled 175-foot-tall tree along 33rd Avenue North smashed a tool shed, damaged a car, and landed on the roof of a garage.

During the early morning hours of May 30th, a few discrete/semi-discrete supercells developed across central MN producing low-end severe hail. However, the main focus of the event was a QLCS moving northeast from FSD���s CWA into south-central to central Minnesota. After crossing into the MPX CWA in southwest Minnesota, this feature transitioned to more of a line/bow echo but no damaging wind reports were observed, likely due to the large amount of MLCIN in southern Minnesota. However, lesser MLCIN and slightly better low-level lapse rates across central MN allowed for the bow echo's winds to start reaching the surface with an 84 mph wind gust measured at the Olivia AWOS. A grain bin was blown away near Sacred Heart as well as some trees and power lines downed near Belgrade.
