Thunderstorm Wind. Winds, associated with an apparent Mesoscale Convective Vortex (MCV), uprooted 6 to 10 trees near Langford Rd near Lake Murray, according to a public report. One of the trees fell on a power line. Time estimated.

Tornado. A National Weather Service survey team confirmed an EF-0 tornado with peak winds|of 80 mph that tracked across western Lexington County, southeast of Gilbert. The|tornado began just west of Liberty Hill Road then crossed Calks Ferry Road, before|dissipating near Nazareth Road. Over the 1.4 mile track, the tornado produced sporadic|damage, snapping and uprooting multiple pine trees and downing power lines along Calks|Ferry Road.

Tropical Storm. Power lines were downed onto a roadway at Two Notch Rd and Davis Hite Pl around 0530 EST (0630 EDT). A tree was leaning on a power line, and blocking the road, along Azalea St near Harmon St in Lexington at 1310 EST (1410 EDT). Total rainfall amounts of around 1 to 2 inches were observed. The highest observed peak wind gusts in the county were 38 mph at Columbia Metropolitan Airport at 1808 EST (1908 EDT) and 38 mph at the RCWINDS site on Lake Murray Dam at an unknown time.

Thunderstorm Wind. Power company reported numerous trees fell on power lines between Gilbert and Leesville resulting in approximately 3000 outages.
