A tree was partially uprooted and fell onto power lines. A large part of another tree snapped off and crushed a car.
Power lines were blown down in Skokie and in Evanston.
Numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown. Some trees and limbs fell on cars causing damage. A 40 foot tall tree was completely uprooted on Kolmar Street and fell onto a house. Twelve inch diameter tree limbs were blown down near Skokie Village Hall.
