Thunderstorm wind gusts estimated at around 70 mph destroyed a 60 by 150 foot machine shed and tipped over a large tractor east of Tecumseh. The winds caused tree damage throughout the Tecumseh area and fallen tree limbs knocked the power out to 200 customers.
Rain changed to a wet heavy snow during the predawn hours of November 16th. Snowfall rates through mid morning reached an inch or so per hour as visibilities dropped to a quarter mile or less. Total snowfall was around 3 to 6 inches across most of the county, with the heaviest along the southern border. The heavy wet snow caused a few accidents and power losses in the morning as the weight of the snow downed large tree limbs which fell on power lines causing them to fall. However, by afternoon the snow had mostly melted on roads.

Our power has been out since 9:30 this morning in the city of Tecumseh and it is 4 in the afternoon as of right now. This is the longest power outage i personally have ever experienced and it is also 33 degrees outside. I understand that it may take a couple hours to fix said outage but over 7 hours? This is getting ridiculous.
