Thunderstorm Wind. Severe thunderstorm winds downed a tree onto a house near Lafayette Road and East Main Street in Red Boiling Springs. The emergency manager also reported many power outages across Macon County. No injuries were reported, and damages are a rough estimate.

High Wind. The highest measured gust in Macon County came from a spotter near Lafayette who measured a wind gust of 60 mph. Several hours of severe non-thunderstorm winds resulted in numerous damage reports, including downed and uprooted trees, downed powerlines, and roof and other property damage across all of Macon County. Damages are estimated.

Tornado. This small, weak tornado touched down on Brattowntown Circle on the west side of Lafayette and moved southeast, knocking down several trees and power lines, and partially blowing the roof off a convienence store on Highway 52. Lafayette EMS personnel captured the tornado on video as it passed south of their station located at Hartsville Road and Highway 52. The tornado is estimated to have lifted near Hunt Lane.
