Thunderstorm winds snapped off numerous power poles along Illinois Route 160 just north northeast of New Baden. Some of the debris landed in the parking lot of Wesclin Junior High School.
A line of severe storms moved across Clinton County blowing down numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines. The towns that sustained damage were New Baden, Trenton, St. Rose, Damiansville, Breese, Bartelso, and Carlyle. A couple of homes in Carlyle had minor shingle damage.
