Tyronza Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
A few power lines were knocked down just south of Tyronza between Interstate 555 and Highway 322. One house south of town lost some siding and had some windows knocked out by a picnic table. Two center pivots irrigation systems were damaged.
Two mobile homes were damaged. Many trees and power lines were blown down.
The tornado touched down near Tyronza and moved slowly east. Several power poles were knocked down.

Crews are working to restore power, but ice damage and ongoing weather conditions are slowing progress. So far, more than 100 poles, 330 spans of wire and 69 cross arms have been discovered damaged so far.
