Thunderstorm Wind. A large tree blew down blocking the 800 block of VA-677 Old Ballard Road. A tree blew onto power lines in the 4200 block of Burton Road.

Thunderstorm Wind. Tree damage was reported just outside the northeastern side of the City of Charlottesville, including a tree that blew down onto power lines near the intersection of Pen Park Lane and Lochlyn Hill Lane.

Thunderstorm Wind. Widespread tree and power line damage was reported in Scottsville. Many homes had shingles and siding removed. Several power poles were snapped as a result of falling trees, and several cars were damaged by wind driven hail or falling trees. Part of a gas station lost pieces of its awning and roof.
