High Wind. Trees and power lines were downed throughout the county. In the town of Bedford, a tree fell on a house causing damaging. Damage values are estimated.

Strong Wind. Winds gusted up to 43 mph resulted in downed power lines and around 3250 power customers without power. Damage values are estimated.

Strong Wind. A tree was downed by the non-thunderstorm winds from the remnants of Ian on Everett Road. A billboard was also blown down on the Lynchburg Salem Turnpike near Bedford, VA. An estimated 2,659 residents lost power.

Winds increased after the passage of a cold front. These strong winds down trees and tree limbs in the region of Franklin, Henry, Bedford, and Pittsylvania Counties. Also, there were a couple of reports of winds also downing power poles and removing some shingles.
