Thunderstorm winds blew down several large trees and power lines around town and along Highway AT between U.S. Highway 50 and Highway 100. Some shingles were blown off of houses as well.

Two miles north of Villa Ridge, 18 power poles were snapped or lying on the ground along a three quarter of a mile stretch of Old Highway 100 between State Highway T and Mary Lane. The damage was caused by a microburst. The estimated wind speed at this location was 90 mph.
