Winter Weather. Rain changed to a heavy, wet pasty snow just before daybreak as the intensity of the precipitation advected enough cold air toward the surface. Snowfall accumulations of 3 to 7 inches were observed and enough to cause downed limbs and branches that resulted in power outages.
