Wacissa Power Outages Caused by Weather

The county dispatch reported that five power lines were blown down in the central part of the county. Monetary damage was estimated.
Straight-line winds downed large trees and power lines east and west of Pinhook Road and Highway 59. One shed was destroyed when its roof collapsed and another was damaged due to a fallen tree. A pontoon boat was slightly damaged by flying debris. A few road signs bent just south of County Road 259 and Highway 59. Reported by the Jefferson County Sheriff.
