June 17, 2022 - Thunderstorm Wind

Widespread tree damage across St. Charles County. Numerous tree limbs, trees and power lines were blown down in Wentzville, Lake St. Louis, O'Fallon, Saint Peters, Weldon Spring, Cottleville, Harvester, Saint Charles and Orchard Farms. A large wooden fence was blown over in O'Fallon. Also, a large tree was blown onto a house in St. Peters causing moderate roof damage.

After crossing back into St. Charles County there was additional tree damage, broken power poles, and structural damage noted along Greens Bottom Road. The tornado crossed the Missouri River a third and final time, back into St. Louis County traveling across Highway 364 and north of the Creve Coeur Airport.

July 21, 2006

A fast moving bow echo storm moved across northern St. Charles County downing trees, power lines, and causing minor structural damage. Thunderstorm winds damaged the roof of a convenience store just south of the Zumbehl Road/I-70 overpass. Large trees and tree limbs were blown down on the Lindenwood University campus and areas nearby. Several large tree limbs blown down near the intersection of Mid Rivers Mall Drive and Willot Road. Many of the areas affected lost electric service for several days. The storms on the 19th and 21st knocked out electric service to a combined 700,000 customers across the St. Louis Metropolitan area.

September 19, 2005

Storm spotters and amateur radio spotters reported numerous trees and large tree limbs down in the St. Peters and St. Charles areas. Power was also out in several locations.

June 13, 2005

Storm spotters measured wind gusts of 78 in Flint Hill and 62 mph in Wentzville. A house under construction in Flint Hill was damaged by the wind. Trees and power lines were also down in the area. In Lake St. Louis, roof shingles were blown off the roof of the Community Center building. A sail boat sank and trees and power lines were down. In O'Fallon, a couple of 1 foot diameter trees were downed.

August 2, 2003

A severe thunderstorm produced hail up to 2 inches in diameter and downed trees and power lines in St. Peters. Several neighborhoods were without power for several hours due to the damage.

June 10, 2003

A severe thunderstorm which took on a bowing structure caused wind damage across a large part of St. Charles County. Trees and power lines were down in the New Melle area and scattered trees were also reported down in O''Fallon and St. Peters. One inch hail was reported in Wentzville.
