Thunderstorm downburst winds estimated to be up to 80 mph downed dozens of trees, utility poles and large limbs across the northern third to half of Trumbull County. The damage was most concentrated in the West Farmington and Bloomfield areas. Two large buildings were leveled near West Farmington with roofing debris found over a third of a mile away. Other homes and buildings in northern Trumbull County sustained damage, mainly from lost roofing or siding. Widespread power outages were reported across northern Trumbull County. It took a couple of days for power to be fully restored.
