Several large oak trees were toppled in Winter Garden as a thunderstorm produced a locally severe microburst. One tree landed on the roof of a home and another fell on an SUV, causing damage. Large tree branches and powerlines were downed throughout the area. Three miles away and a few minutes earlier, strong winds impacted Lake Beulah and snapped a large palm tree in half. Based on damage photos, winds were estimated near 60 mph.
