Thunderstorm Wind. Outflow winds from a thunderstorm brought damage to portions of the Star Valley. A wind gust of 60 mph was reported at the Afton, Wyoming airport. There were numerous reports of trees down as well as power lines, resulting in power outages. The worst damage was noted in Fairview, Wyoming as well as between Grover and Auburn, Wyoming.

An upper level disturbance moved across Wyoming and produced some locally strong thunderstorms. Penny sized hail fell near Thayne. East of the Continental Divide, a much drier airmass produced favorable conditions for strong outflow wind. Wind gusts from a decaying shower downed power lines in Lovell.
