Thousands still without power after Monday storms, update from AES Ohio | WRGT

XENIA, Ohio (WKEF) -- Thousands of AES Ohio customers are without power following Monday night storms. This widespread damage was reported throughout the Miami Valley from high winds. Officials from AES Ohio say they expect power to be restored to 95% of those outages by midnight Tuesday. They say the crews will continue to work through the night and into tomorrow for the rest of the customers.

DAYTON, Ohio (WKEF) - As of 7:45 a. m. Monday. AES Ohio is reporting 118 customers remain without power. The majority of those customers are in the Wilmington area and scattered from Dayton to Xenia. ------------As of 12:00 p. m. Sunday, June 20, 2021 AES Ohio is reporting 1,538 customers were without power after Friday's storms. The majority of the remaining outages are clustered in southern Montgomery County and near the Wilmington area.
