A tree was downed by thunderstorm wind gusts and was completely blocking US 421 at Valley Meadow Drive. Power was also out across Zionsville.

March 26, 2021 - High Wind

A 52 mph wind gust was reported at an automated surface observation system 2 miles southeast of Whitestown. Power outages across the county peaked over 1000 with several reports of trees and powerlines downed due to the strong gradient winds.

November 14, 2018 - Ice Storm

At least five accidents occurred in Boone County due to ice accumulations. Trees were damaged and numerous power lines were reported down over the county.

April 2, 2016 - High Wind

Trees were snapped or uprooted with power outages due to damaging non-thunderstorm wind gusts. Tree limbs and power lines were also downed in Lebanon.
