Centuria Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
Numerous large trees and power lines were blown down from west of the City of Balsam Lake near Long Lake, northeast to County Road I or east of Bone Lake, Wisconsin. Large hail was also reported during the same time period, but no measurements were made on hail size. A corn field was also flattened north of County Road G, and east of Half Moon Lake due to the severe winds.
Over 20 miles of roads were blocked by downed trees and power lines in the northwest portion of the county. Siding, roof, and window damage was reported in the Sterling Township area. The roof of an old school building was blown off in Centuria. The time was estimated.

The local emergency manager reported that several trees were uprooted or blown down from Centuria, to Balsam Lake, and Milltown, Wisconsin. Most of the trees were small but some did manage to pulled down power lines and block roads.
