The highest winds were recorded on Cape Cod, where they reached 81 miles per hour at Hatch Beach in Eastham, 64 miles per hour in Chatham, and 59 miles per hour in Woods Hole in Falmouth. On the South Shore, winds of 61 miles per hour were recorded at the Hull Yacht Club, and 56 miles per hour in Duxbury, the service said Friday evening.
