Chickasha Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
A power pole was damaged along US-81 just north of the Chickasha airport. Some damage to outbuildings was also reported near US-81 and 4-mile Road.
The second tornado of the outbreak developed along County Road 1340 about 1.5 miles west of the Grady-McClain County line. The tornado moved east along County Road 1340 destroying a small trailer and a small shed, and damaging trees and a power pole. The tornado moved into McClain County.

Some tree debris in Bridge Creek area. Mainly small limbs down and one hanging from a power line.
Trees and power poles downed by winds. Gas station awning collapsed. Roof damage to several structures including a church.

At last check, Public Service Company of Oklahoma’s outage map indicated that more than 1300 customers on the east side of town are without electricity.
