Bitter cold air and wind overspread SE Texas behind and Arctic front on Valentines Day with wind chill indices below zero for much the period from Sunday night to Tuesday morning. Thunderstorm winds downed power lines and nine large pine trees near the intersection of SH 105 and FM 1484. There was some minor residential home damage from the fallen pine trees.
