Power lines were blown down across Illinois Route 54 west of Cornland.

Numerous trees and power lines were blown down from Cornland, to Mount Pulaski, to Chestnut. Also, a grain bin and machine shed were destroyed, and a car wash lost part of its roof in Mount Pulaski.

In addition to the hail, estimated 60 mph wind gusts snapped two power poles and damaged two outbuildings.

March 12, 2006 - Tornado

The tornado touched down 4 miles east of Cornland, and was on the ground for 2.5 miles before lifting 2.5 miles southwest of Mt. Pulaski. The tornado snapped numerous trees and power poles, and a 400 foot microwave tower was toppled. No injuries or fatalities were reported.

June 13, 2005 - Thunderstorm Wind

A line of severe thunderstorms caused damage across much of southeast Logan county. Many trees and power lines were blown down. Several buildings in Latham had their roofs blown off, including an apartment house. A barn in Mount Pulaski and a machine shed in Chestnut were destroyed. No injuries were reported.
