NV Energy cancels planned power shutoff for Incline Village | KRNV

NV Energy has canceled the power shutoff that was planned for the Crystal Bay and Incline Village areas Friday because of updated weather forecasts, according to the utility's website. The alert on the NV Energy website said there is still a red flag warning in effect, meaning dangerous fire conditions still exist, but updated forecasts meant the weather was not severe enough to trigger a planned outage. Previously, NV Energy had planned an 11-hour shutoff, starting at 7:00 a. m.
