Numerous large trees were snapped and many other trees were uprooted in Crystal Lake. Hundreds of tree limbs were blown down, as well as many power lines that were blown down.

A tree limb 8 to 10 inches in diameter was blown onto power lines near Ojibwa Lane and Curran Road. A 17 inch diameter tree limb was snapped off in the same neighborhood. Additional small twigs and limbs were blown down.

Winds estimated to more than 70 mph lasted for two to three minutes causing 1-foot diameter trees and large branches to blow over as well as power outages. Large limbs fell through the windshield of a car at an intersection on Dole Avenue.

In Woodstock, a tree was blown down on a house near Birch and Julie Streets, a four foot diameter tree was blown along with powerlines and a lightpole was blown down near Route 47 and Route 120. In Marengo, a large tree was blown near Forest Street and Highway 23 and a semi truck was overturned near Route 20 and Interstate 90. A large tree was blown down onto a house along with numerous trees blown down between Garden Prairie Road and Illinois 23, six miles north of Marengo. Tree limbs and powerlines were blown down near McHenry.

Extensive tree damage was reported across Crystal Lake. Numerous trees, tree limbs and power lines were blown down. One home on Crystal Beach Avenue was deemed uninhabitable because of tree damage.

A tree was blown down across the road at the intersection of South Solon Road and Ridge Road in Spring Grove. Also, power lines were down on State Park Road. The sheriff's department reported minor wind damage in Cary, Crystal Lake, Harvard, Hebron, Marengo, McHenry, Richmond, Union, Wonder Lake and Woodstock.
