Strong winds developed across northern Illinois during the afternoon of May 1st. A large tree limb was blown down near 98th Street and Walden Parkway in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago. A wind gust to 60 mph was measured in Harvard. A tree limb was blown down onto a power line two miles west of Wonder Lake.
