There was a power outage in East China Twp., I think it was Thurs., July 2, 2020, in the afternoon. I am trying to find out why I lost my cellular phone service along with my electricity. I spoke with my cell phone provider and they said I get reception from a T Mobile tower and it looks like it is located on Yankee Rd. in St. Clair, 48079. DTE, my power provider just said there was a problem with the equipment and couldn't give me any other information. I would like to know why I lost phone service during the power outage in case I need to change phone carriers. I don't understand how cell phone towers send signals, but was very confused that I lost service when the electricity went out. M My neighbors' phone worked, but I do not know what carrier she has yet, but I will sure find out. I would appreciate some clarification on this matter. Thank You. Gail Zobl [email protected]
