Multiple trees and power lines were blown down around town.
A swath of damaging thunderstorm winds affected portions of western Hinds county including the towns of Edwards, Utica, and Bolton as well as some damage around Clinton. Numerous trees were blown down in the western portion of the county. Power lines were blown down at Northside Elementary school east northeast of Clinton. A large tree was blown down along Lakeview Road just east of Clinton.
