Elysian Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
Several trees and power lines were blown down in Elysian. Waterville had roof damage to a business and a home had its garage door blown off. The severe winds were related to the initial outflow from the squall line.
A few trees and power lines were blown down across southern Le Sueur County, from north and northeast of Madison Lake to Kilkenny.
The city of Elysian had significant wind damage as power lines and big trees were blown down throughout the city. Some of the trees landed on homes and on vehicles, producing damage. The storm was also to blame for boats overturning on Lake Francis.
Power lines and a transformer were damaged between Elysian and Waterville.
