High winds from a thunderstorm produced sporadic reports of trees and power lines down and also damage to a fireworks stand and a produce stand.
Winds estimated at 60 mph downed multiple trees and power lines along Hwy 136 east of Excel.
A weak tornado touched down just south of Highway 136 near Excel. The tornado tracked north and dissipated near Highway 84. Several trees, power lines and out buildings were damaged by the tornado. Some roofs were also damaged by the tornado.
