Farmington Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
Several large trees were uprooted and a few power lines were knocked down.
A corridor of enhanced wind damage occurred along Highway 24 in Fulton County from southwest of Fairview to just south of Farmington. A National Weather Service Storm Survey found several machine sheds, garages, and outbuildings damaged or destroyed along this path. In addition, numerous trees and powerlines were blown down as well. The winds were likely caused by the rear-flank downdraft from a supercell thunderstorm just ahead of the main line of storms.
A mobile home was blown off its foundation, siding was damaged and numerous trees and power lines were blown down.

Numerous trees and power lines were blown down. Three of the trees were 30" in diameter, with several limbs reaching 16" in diameter. A boat on a lake 1 mile north of Farmington was blown off the water onto shore. A fisherman suffered minor injuries to his back.

PNM's website appears to be currently down, and there is no way to view the outage map. However, their Twitter said the following areas are included in the outage: La Orilla Northwest (North), Duerksen Road Northwest (South), Winterhaven Road Northwest (East), and Unser Boulevard (West).
