Thunderstorm Wind. Several reports of trees and/or powerlines in the area around Fairburn and Union City, west of the I-85/i-285 interchange. Most significant damage was tree down through a home on Thaxton Rd SW near intersection of Wolf Creek Cir SW.

Multiple waves of typical daytime summertime showers and thunderstorms developed within a modestly unstable and abnormally moist tropical airmass during the afternoon and evenings of July 19th through July 21st. These storms produced numerous reports of trees and powerlines down, quarter size hail, and flash flooding across portions of north and central Georgia.

A multi-day severe weather event unfolded mid June as multiple disturbances surrounding the outer periphery of a mid level high pushed through an abnormally moist environment and highly unstable environment over the forecast area. These storms produced numerous reports of trees & powerlines down, quarter to golf ball size hail, structural damage, and isolated instances of flash flooding.

An axis of instability was draped across much of the area during a multi-day stretch in June, which served as a catalyst for diurnally driven convection across portions of north and central Georgia. These storms and its respective outflows produced numerous reports of trees and powerlines down, with minor structural damage at some locations.
