A local newspaper reported downed trees and power lines in Marrero and Harvey due to thunderstorm winds.

The greatest concentration of damage was in Gretna on Manhattan Blvd, where nearly 1.8 miles of hail and wind damage occurred. Over a mile of power lines were either snapped or pushed over by these winds. An awning was blown down at the Manhattan Place Shopping Center, which damaged several cars in the parking lot.
