Thunderstorm Wind. An early morning storm moved through Bingham County and downed trees and power lines. Wind speeds of 56 mph were measured in Blackfoot with 2,100 people without power according to Rocky Mountain Power and Idaho Power. The storm moved through around 2 am in the morning with most power restored by 11 am. Several power lines were downed as well as large trees including a 70 foot spruce in Groveland.
