Iliff Power Outages Caused by Weather
Events
Intense straight-line winds flipped two pivot sprinklers, uprooted trees and broke several power poles. Corn crops in the area were also extensively damaged.
Intense thunderstorm winds knocked a row of power lines down. In addition, an estimated 500 lb deck was lifted approximately 15 to 20 ft. off its platform.
Utility poles were snapped and power lines were downed.
