Powerful thunderstorm winds raked the area from around Cambridge east to the Jefferson area. Dozens of large trees were uprooted, and a number of power-lines and power-poles were snapped by broken tree branches. In Jefferson, three buildings were damaged: one of them had extensive damage to its roof and interior ceilings, a business's outdoor sign was damaged, and motel had a roof peel and several imploded windows. A fence in a subdivision east of Cambridge was blown down. A few roads were temporarily closed until tree debris was removed.
Trees and power lines were reported blown down by damaging thunderstorm wind gusts measured at 50 knots (58 mph) in a swath from Ft. Atkinson to Jefferson.
Powerful thunderstorm wind gusts toppled several large trees and broke branches that brought down some power-lines. Five tents were damaged at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds.
Powerful thunderstorm winds toppled trees and resulted in damage to power-lines and cable-TV lines. Electrical customers were without power for several hours. Associated rain was described as going sideways in white sheets. Between Jeffeson and Helenville a couple roads were blocked with tree debris. About 2 inches of rain accompanied the storms.
