April 17, 2022 - Thunderstorm Wind

Damaging winds with a line of severe thunderstorms blew down trees and power lines in the Sicily Island area including a few trees which were blown down along Louisiana Highway 921.

August 30, 2021 - Tropical Storm

Estimated tropical storm force wind gusts of 40-50 miles per hour resulted in scattered trees and power lines down across the Parish.

February 17, 2021 - Ice Storm

Between 0.50 and 0.70 inches of ice accumulated across the parish, and numerous trees and power lines were downed by the added weight. Most of the parish lost power during the storm.

December 13, 2020 - Thunderstorm Wind

A powerline was blown down along Highway 124 just south of Jonesville.

A line of thunderstorms moved through northeast Louisiana on the evening of December 13th. Several trees and power lines were blown down during this event.

December 31, 2010

A large and powerful storm system, along with a strong cold front, impacted northeast Louisiana during the afternoon and evening hours of December 31. This system brought some severe storms which produced some quarter sized hail and a few instances of thunderstorm wind damage.
